Under the direction of new Music Director Vincent Povázsay, LCCO is scheduled to begin rehearsing with the full group in mid-August in preparation for a season that will start with October concerts and continue in December, March and May. Home base for the orchestra is the Mann Center, Sanford’s performance, arts, and community center. Outdoor concerts are usually held at Depot Park.
2019-2020: Our Most Recent Season
The orchestra was able to perform the first half of the 2019-20 season before the season was unfortunately cut short by COVID-19.
“Classical Cartoons” - The October concert explored the musical staples of childhood and their ties to classical music.
