Christmas Carols in the Time of COVID

Updated: May 24

LCCO contributed a recording of Christmas carols used for a special holiday season drive-thru event sponsored by the Central Carolina Community College Foundation.

The "Cougar Express" drive-thru event - held Dec. 3, 2020 in the parking lot of the Dennis A. Wicker Civic & Conference Center - was geared toward small children and included cookies and candy canes, elves, a snow woman, and Santa Claus.

With appropriate COVID-19 measures in place and observed, people greeting Santa listened to LCCO's Christmas music on their car radios tuned to the college station, WDCC 90.5 FM.

LCCO performs FREE concerts for the community and creates an opportunity for community members to play in an ensemble with a professional conductor.

LCCO’s annual season features four sets of concerts in October, December, March, and May. Email lccorch@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming an orchestra musician.
